In my kitchen!

Indonesians like corn fritters! Every house has a different recipe. We usually eat them with steamed rice or just gobble them as snacks. I sometimes eyeball the ingredients, but I use this recipe as a guide. It takes quite a while to fry because I prefer to use low-medium heat and I fry in batches.

4 servings
  1. 2 cupsfresh corn kernels

  3. 1/4 cuprice flour
  4. 1 tbspmaizena
  5. 1egg

  8. 2 tbspwater
  9. Oil for frying

Cooking Instructions

40 mins
  1. 1

Combine all ingredients save from oil. Mix well and wait for 5 - 10 minutes. If the combination is too runny, add more flour. If it is too dense, add more water.

Heat the oil. Using low to medium heat, scoop some batter to the oil. Flip them once in a while until golden.

  3. 3

    Serve immediately. Enjoy!
