Steps
- 1
Mix your flour and cinnamon powder a big enough sufuria that give you room for kneading your dough.
- 2
Add your sugar, salt and a little to luke warm water. Mix it well.
- 3
Start kneading the dough by adding a little amount of water to the flour in bits with one hand and mixing well with the other hand. Keep kneading untill all the flour is well mixed. Leave the dough to rest for atleast 30 minutes.
- 4
Divide your dough into smaller round sizes. And dust them a bit with a little flour
- 5
Using a rolling pin, in a flat clean area, roll your small dough to preferred thickness (I prefer mine in medium size thickness.) Apply 1/2tablespoon of oil on one side of the chapati.
- 6
Roll the flattened chapati.fold it to a shape of your likeness. This is where you get to enjoy your creativity.
- 7
Preheat your flattened pan in low heat. Roll the new small dough again into your preferred thickness. Place it on the cooking pan. Allow it to cook on one side without oil then turn it and let it cook on other side with out oil. Cook all the chapati's and set aside.
- 8
Start cooking your chapati's with cooking oil. Apply oil on the top side then turn and allow the chapati cook untill it's well browned
- 9
Once you've cooked all your chapati's set them aside. Preferably in a hot pot dish to keep them warm.
- 10
You can enjoy the chapati's with literally anything. Bon appetit.
