Steps
- 1
Gather all the ingredients so they're ready to use.
- 2
Toast the noodles over low heat until golden.
- 3
Once toasted, set the noodles aside.
- 4
Peel the shrimp.
- 5
Sauté the cuttlefish first, since it takes longer to cook, then add the shrimp and sauté until just cooked.
- 6
Add the noodles and the carton of seafood broth. Bring to a boil, then simmer for the recommended time.
- 7
For No. 0 noodles: use 10 1/2 oz (300 g), cook for 5 minutes. For No. 2 noodles: use 7 oz (200 g), cook for 10-13 minutes. For thick noodles: use 7 oz (200 g), cook for 15 minutes. Then bake for 5 minutes at 350°F (180°C). These amounts serve 4 people. For 2 servings, use half the noodles and a little more than half the broth.
