Ingredients

4 servings
  • Baby corn- 12 nos blanch and cut strip into length wise
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1 tspHaldi
  • 1 tspDhanya powder
  • 1/2 tspKasori methi
  • Marinate all the above ingredients and keep it aside
  • For Tempering
  • 2 tbspOil
  • 2 tbspChopped garlic
  • Chopped onion- 2 nos
  • Green chilli- 2 nos chopped
  • 1/2 cupTomato sauce
  • 1/2 slicesCapsicum
  • Curry pata- 10 nos
  • For Batter
  • 1/2 cupRice flour
  • 2 tbspCorn flour
  • 1 tbspBesan
  • 1 tbspMaida
  • Oil-2tbsp
  • to tasteSalt
  • Water ½ cup (add water slowly to make the batter like pakoda)
  • 1/2 tspKasori methi
  • 1/2 tspBlack pepper

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat the oil in a pan dip babycorn with the batter. Dip the babycorn with the batter and fry the babycorn in 3 batches. Then add tomato sauce immediately add the fired baby corn.

    In each batch fry 5-6 pieces slices in, coat thickly. Fry both sides Heat the oil add chopped garlic cook it for 1 minute then add onion, chilli, curry pata, capsicum slices stir it quickly.

  3. 3

    Mix it properly serve hot with garma garam tea. [Notes: Make this dish when you have to serve immediately or temper it five min prior to making this recipe]
