Beat the eggs and sugar well in a mixer.

Add all the liquids—milk and oil—to the mixture and mix well.

Add the semolina, then the flour, baking powder, and vanilla, and mix until combined.

Pour the mixture into a 12x16 inch (31x42 cm) baking pan and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) until golden brown and cooked through.

Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool completely, then cut into pieces.

Combine all the syrup ingredients in a saucepan and boil for about 10 minutes. Pour the hot syrup directly over the cooled cake in the pan.

Let the cake absorb the syrup for at least 4-5 hours, then serve, preferably with vanilla ice cream. Good luck!
