Break the dark chocolate into pieces and melt it with the margarine in a double boiler, stirring occasionally.

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease and flour a 8-inch (20 cm) round baking pan.

Sift the flour and cocoa powder together.

Beat the eggs and sugar in a mixer until the mixture is pale and fluffy.

Add the melted chocolate mixture. Then add the flour and cocoa, mix, and add the brandy.

Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake at 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes.

For the glaze: Break the dark chocolate into pieces and place it in a saucepan. Add the heavy cream. Heat over low heat, stirring occasionally, until melted and smooth. Once cooled, pour the glaze over the chocolate cake pie.
