Heat the 1/3 cup of oil in a large pot and sauté the onion in medium heat for 2'.

Add the potatoes and sauté for an additional 4'.

Add the peas in the pot, 1 1/2 cups of water, the carrots, the fennel leaves as well as the salt and pepper. When it boils, lower the heat, cover it and let the food simmer for 15'.

Add another 1/2 cup for water, the lemon juice, the rest of the oil and stir.

Leave the food for an additional 10', till the vegetables are soft.
