I always buy those fancy sweet and sour sauce bottles that Heinz makes. But i thought to myself, why not do it from scratch on my own? At least you get to know every single ingredient.

I have tried a few sauces that were okay, but this sauce, inspired by the Kitchen, is my favorite. It is very simple to make, but has such spectacular flavor.Depending upon your desired consistency, add more or less water. For our dish, a half cup was perfect. If you want to use as a salad dressing, use more water. We used ours over noodles/spaghetti, with some chicken. Wow!You will be surprised at how good this sauce is. Just a few simple ingredients.Enjoy!

Perfect topping for asian style fried pork/chicken or on rice. Tomato free so it will look a little more brown.

This sauce is so simple and has a million different uses! Try it in a stirfry, as a marinade, on salads, as a dipping sauce and more! If a thin sauce is desired, omit the cornstarch and water from the recipe. Keep in mind that this sauce has a very concentrated flavor, so a little goes a long way.

This is a sweet yet spicy tomato sauce that I like to add to my chilli. You could put it on anything you wanted too really but it's a really good fit when mixed into a chilli I think. If you don't want the sweetness to it simply substitute the 9 roma tomatoes with 4 beefsteak tomatoes and leave out the brown sugar entirely. When prepping the peppers don't include the bell peppers' seeds into the mixture however, do include the habanero seeds.
