Ingredients

  1. 6Eggs
  2. 5Sausage Patties
  3. 2 cupHash Browns
  4. 1 1/2 cupShredded Cheese (Various flavors. I used Kraft Cheddar blend and Mexican blend
  5. 3 ozMilk
  6. 1 1/2 tspBlack Pepper
  7. 1 1/2 tspSalt
  8. 2 dashParsley
  9. 1 tbspOlive Oil
  10. 2 tspButter
  11. 2Frying Pans
  12. 1Deep oven safe casserole dish

Cooking Instructions

    In frying pan, heat oil and cook hash browns completely. season with 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of pepper pepper and the parsley.

    In a separate pan, cook sausage patties according to package. Drain grease and set sausage aside.

    Preheat oven to 325°F

    In a mixing bowl, combine eggs, milk, remaining salt and pepper and the butter and beat together thoroughly. Set aside.

    Chop up the drained sausage in small, bite-size chunks.

    Using an oven safe casserole dish, line the bottom of the dish with the potatoes, then top with 1/4 cup of cheese.

    For the next layer, top the cheese with the sausage and spread evenly.

    Add another layer of cheese, 1/4 cup.

    Pour in the egg mixture and top with remaining cheese. Spread evenly.

    Place in oven and bake 30 minutes. Remove and enjoy !
