A tasty alternative to potato fries!

Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 1 kgcarrots
  2. 1fresh black pepper
  3. 2 tspchopped tarragon
  4. 1/4 tsplow-sodium salt
  5. 2 tbspcornflour / corn starch or starch of choice
  6. 2 tbspsunflower oil or use spray oil

Cooking Instructions

45 mins

    Preheat the oven to gas 6 / 200C / 400°F

  2. 2

    Cut the carrots into batons/sticks, around 1cm thickness and 8cm length

  3. 3

    Drizzle or spray the oil over a lined baking tray

  4. 4

    Add the carrot batons then sprinkle over the cornstarch and some fresh black pepper

  5. 5

    Toss the carrots to coat in the oil/starch mixture and let bake for 45 minutes

  6. 6

    Mix the tarragon and salt together then season the carrots with it before serving
