Ingredients

  • crust
  • 1 1/4 cuppecan meal, flour
  • 2 largeeggs
  • 2 tbspbaking powder
  • 1 1/4 cupcolby and monterrey jack cheese shredded
  • filling
  • 1 cupalmonds
  • 1 cuppistachio nuts salted
  • 1 cupwalnuts
  • 1 1/4 cupcolby and monterrey jack cheese shredded
  • 1 largejalapeño pepper
  • 1 largevine ripened tomato
  • topping
  • 1/2 cupblack ripened olives sliced
  • 1/3 cupsliced green olives with pimentos
  • 1/4 tspground black pepper
  • 1/4 tspkosher salt

Steps

  1. 1

    Preheat oven 400° Fahrenheit

  2. 2

    Mix the pecan meal, with eggs, baking powder and cheese

    Put the mixture in a deep dish 10 inch pie pan.

    Slice the tomatoes. Cut the jalapeño in half remove seeds and ribs. The dice the jalapeño.

    Add nuts, add jalapeños, and tomato slices. Add the cheese and salt and pepper.

    Slice the olives. Add the olives and pimentos on the top

  7. 7

    Bake 25-30 minutes. Let sit 5 minutes. Serve hope you enjoy!
