Ingredients

8 servings
  1. 1/2 cupdark karo syrup
  2. 1/2 cuplight karo syrup
  3. 1/2 cupsugar
  4. 1 1/2 cupchopped pecans
  5. 1 tspvanilla
  6. 1 tspmaple flavoring
  7. 1/2 stickmelted butter
  8. 3large eggs room temperature & beating
  9. 1/2 tspsalt
  10. pinchcorn meal (pretty big pinch)
  11. 2pie crust

    Preheat oven to 350

  2. 2

    To eggs add vanilla and maple beat. Sit to the side.

  3. 3

    In a large 4 cup measuring cup or bowl put your syrup, sugar,pecans, salt, corn meal and butter. Mix well

  4. 4

    Add the egg mixture and mix. Side aside.

  5. 5

    Place Reynolds wrap around the top of the crust so it won't burn.

  6. 6

    Stir pie filling again and divide half into each crust.

  7. 7

    Place in oven. Cook for about 40 minutes.

  8. 8

    It needs to sit and cool for at least 3 hours. Can be frozen for later..Make sure you take the wrap off before serving.
