Moist Chocolate Pie

For chocolate lovers, here's a delicious, moist chocolate pie. I found the recipe on www.paxxi.gr and it was calling out to me, 'make me'... I did, and I didn't regret it. It's easy and quick... The only downside is you have to wait two hours for the ganache to soak in... We couldn't resist... We cut it a little sooner... Perfect!!!

Perfect!!!
Steps
- 1
In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and cocoa powder.
- 2
In another bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until light and fluffy.
- 3
Add the warm (not hot) melted butter, milk, and liqueur, and mix well.
- 4
Combine the dry and wet mixtures together.
- 5
Grease a baking dish and dust it with cocoa powder, then pour in the batter.
- 6
Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 45-50 minutes using conventional heat (not convection).
- 7
In a small saucepan, heat the milk and melt the chocolate in it.
- 8
Pour the ganache over the cake after cutting it into pieces and poking holes all over so the syrup soaks in well (I used a small fork to poke from edge to edge).
- 9
Let it sit for 2 hours to absorb completely.
- 10
Don't worry if the syrup seems like a lot; the cake will soak it all up in the end.
