Authentic Italian Sauce

John Talamelli
John Talamelli @cook_3459110

I grew up in an Italian American home. As a tradition every Sunday my grandmother would cook a Sunday lunch for our family and friends. If you know anything about Italian family gatherings, it was a mad house but i wouldn't have traded it for anything. She has since passed. To continue this tradition I started to cook her sauce for my family. So please enjoy!

I'm half Italian half Vietnamese. I came to United States at 9 months old from Vietnam. I was raised by an Italian family with Italian traditions. I lived with my grandmother. Her passion and job was cooking for the family. Her food was amazing a combination of American and Italian. She has passed on but a few of us family members try to keep her cooking traditions alive. She always used to say if you like to eat good you have to learn to cook good.
