Ingredients

  1. 2 cupscoarsely ground wheat flour
  2. 1/2 cupghee
  3. 1/2 cupwater
  4. 1 1/2 cupjaggery
  5. 2 tbspgrated coconut
  6. 1/4 cupalmonds and cashews chopped
  7. 2 tbspraisins
  8. 1/2 tsppoppy seeds

Steps

  1. 1

    Take 2 cups coarsely ground wheat flour in a bowl.

  2. 2

    Add 1/2 cup melted ghee for mohen. Mix well.Add 1/2 cup water to make a stiff dough.Cover it and let it rest for 30 minutes.

    Divide the dough into 10-12 a long balls (muthais).make tight muthais.

  4. 4

    Heat oil for frying.Fry muthais on low flame.It will take 12- 15 minutes.Turn the muthais and fry till golden brown.

    Fry all the muthais and transfer in a bowl.cool the muthais.

  6. 6

    Break the muthais with hand first and then grind in a mixer till powder.

  7. 7

    Take out the Churma in a big vessel.

  8. 8

    In a Separate pan heat 2 tbsp melted ghee.Add 1 1/2 cup jaggery in the pan.Mix it.Don't overcook the jaggery. Add Cardamom powder. Allow the jaggery to melt and off the flame.Add grated coconut, chopped cashews and almonds and raisins.Add poppy seeds.

    Now quickly bind the Laddoo with the palm of the hand.

    Could down the Laddoo for 2- 3 hours.

    Store in a container.

  12. 12

    Serve these nutritious laddoos on any auspicious occasions.
