It takes about 25 minutes to cook

Diced the sliced Yam into medium size cubes, wash thoroughly, place in a put and add 2 cups of water and put to boil. Immediately add the sliced onions into the yam so the onion taste can infuse with the yam. (the secret ingredient to a tasty porridge is the onion). After 10 minutes, add the tomato paste, followed by the seasoning cube, salt and let it simmer for another 5 minutes, then after that add the Palm oil and cover for another 5 minute.

At this stage you now have ti start stirring for another 3 minutes until it becomes porridge like. Then cover for another 3 minutes on medium heat.

You now have your yummy Yam easy porridge
