Wow!!!! pickle using a fruit. I was very excited when I prepared it for the first time. The apple which I bought were very sour. So I tried making pickle in the same way in which we do raw mango instant pickle. It's a great accompaniment with anything with a yummy taste and goes well with anything.

Ingredients

2Apples
1 tspOil
1/2 tspMustard seeds
Cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp (optional)
1/2 tspTurmeric powder
1 tspRed chilli powder
2-4 pinchesAsafoetida
to tasteSalt

Steps

1

Wash, wipe and cut apples into small pieces, heat oil add Mustard seeds & chopped apple and saute for a minute
2

Now add the remaining ingredients one by one, and mix everything well while sauteing it
3

Remove from the heat and transfer it to another container and it is ready to serve
