Typically Salmon is done on a cedar plank here in the Pacific North West, but I decided to mix it up a little and add some ideas I got from a fisherman in the African country of Gabon.

Typically Salmon is done on a cedar plank here in the Pacific North West, but I decided to mix it up a little and add some ideas I got from a fisherman in the African country of Gabon.
Steps

Mix honey, Dijon mustard and garlic together in a bowl.

Place salmon skin down on stone cooking plate (Can use Cedar plank or baking pan if using the oven)
- 3
Add chopped basil, spring onions, tomatoes ground ginger, salt & pepper.

Smear mustard & honey mix over the top skinless side.
- 5
Place on medium heat BBQ for approximately 15 minutes. Ensure heat is even under stone plate to prevent cracking.
