So I love beef and broccoli but I had no beef and decided to make the exact recipe with a few alterations just with chicken!! I basically looked at a ton of recipes and put a bunch together plus with my own touch to it and it turned out amazing I was like wow!!! I had never used oyster sauce and was kinda scared it was gonna taste fishy it did not!! I am so glad I made this and this will be a family favorite!! :)

Ingredients

  1. Marinade
  2. 1/2 cupLow sodium soy sauce
  3. 1/4 cupCornstarch
  4. 3 tbspSherry
  5. 1 tbspFresh ginger (you can use ground)
  6. 2 clovegarlic
  7. 1 tspsesame oil
  8. 2 tbspBrown sugar
  9. Green onions
  10. 2 tspRed pepper flakes
  11. 1Chicken and broccoli
  12. 3Chicken breasts cut into squares
  13. 1 lbBroccoli
  14. 1/4 cupchicken broth
  15. 1/4Oyster sauce
  16. 3 tbspPeanut or veggie oil

Cooking Instructions

    Mix together the soy sauce,cornstarch, Sherry, brown sugar, ginger, sesame oil, red pepper flakes, green onions and garlic pour half of this marinade onto the chicken and let it sit

    Then heat up your peanut or veggie oil and add the broccoli as soon as it's not. Let your broccoli get green and place it on a plate once done

    Add the chicken and marinade into your pan and let it cook for a few seconds before you turn it over let your chicken fully cook and put on a plate

    Then take the rest of the sauce and add it to the pan and then add your 1/4 of oyster sauce and 1/4 of chicken broth let cook until it gets thick make sure to stir then add your chicken and your brocoli and mix it together and cook for a few minutes

    Serve with white rice :) and enjoy!! I also sprinkled the top with some red pepper flakes and green onions :)
