Wash beans and set to soak for at least 2 hours

After soaking for at least 2 hours, pour beans into rice cooker and add about 6 to 8 cups of water.

Throw in melon strips and rock sugar. Switch on rice cooker and let it cook. Check back every 15 minutes to stir.

Ready to serve once beans are soft and mushy
