Ingredients

  • 2chicken breast(rotisserie) chopped up
  • 1 stickunsalted butter
  • 1 smalljalapeno(seeded & diced)
  • 1/2red bell pepper(seeded and diced)
  • 1 smallbushell mushrooms(your choice)
  • 1 mediumshallot(diced)
  • 1 cupheavy cream
  • 1/2 cupregular milk or half & half
  • 4 ozcream cheese(softened and room temp)
  • 1/4 cupchicken broth
  • 1 tspblack pepper
  • 1 tspcajun seasoning
  • 1 tsppaprika
  • 1/2 tspitalian seasoning
  • 1 tspgarlic powder
  • 8 ozpasta(cooked)
  • 1/4 cupparmesan cheese

Steps

  1. 1

    Melt butter in pot, and saute veggies.

  2. 2

    Add milk, broth, cream and cream cheese to pot with sauteed vegetables.

  3. 3

    Add all spices to mixture. Simmer on low 15-20 minutes, stirring so mixture will not burn and all ingredients are well combined.

  4. 4

    Add in chicken and cooked pasta. Stir till all noodles are evenly coated.

  5. 5

    Stir in parmesan cheese and serve with chopped green onions sprinkled on top.
