Ingredients

  1. 1 cupOomugi barley grains
  2. 2 tbspgreen peas
  3. 1large potato
  4. to tastesalt
  5. 2 nosclove
  6. 2 tbspsliced onion
  7. 4 nosblack peppercorn
  8. 2 nosgreen cardamom
  9. 1 tbspchopped green chilli
  10. 1 tspcumin seeds
  11. 1 nosoaked dry red chilli
  12. 2 tbspolive oil

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash the barley the soak for 4 to 5 hours. peel, wash, cut potatoes in small dices heat the oil in a pan crackle the cumin seeds the saute the cardamom, black pepper, clove and red chilli.

  2. 2

    Now fry the onion and green chilli. add potato and peas stir 2 minutes then add soaked barley add 2 cup water cover and cook it for 10 minutes on sim. switch of the gas serve hot with curd and salad.
