Delicious simplicity

Wanted to try something different.

Because sometimes you want tacos...but with pasta! I use turkey and whole wheat pasta to make it a *little* healthier!

This is great by itself but makes a hell of a dip too. That is why I suggest using a smaller pasta, so you can get that on your chip as well.

I came across this recipe on Pinterest and adapted the recipe a bit. I love that the recipe calls for a homemade queso cheese sauce rather than pre-packaged. This recipe isn't spicy (my kids ate and enjoyed it, and trust me, they don't do spicy) but you can increase the amount of cayenne pepper for more of a kick or use hot salsa and pepperjack cheese. You can also use a packaged taco seasoning in place of the seasonings I used. Recipe adapted from: picky-palate.com

I am trying my best to stay away from high fat and high calorie recipes, but I REALLY wanted hamburger helper. So, I made this super simple, easy, and quick recipe. It did NOT disappoint! A very delicious meal that every member of the family will eat!

I found this recipe and changed it . This taste like the hamburger helper taco , and i will be making this more often. A new way to have tacos on taco night! I didn’t have any lettuce or tomatoes to put on top but I had sour cream and hot sauce ... going to try this again with all the toppings and some Fritos chips..

I found a recipe on pinterest for something similar that had way more ingredients and a lot of things I didn't have so I adapted this recipe from what I had using it as inspiration. Be careful to not eat too much at once! Its delicious!
