Ingredients

1 lbStrip steak
1/2 tspGarlic powder
1/2 tspAll purpose seasoning
1Sprinkle black pepper
1Salt to tatse
1/2 tspBrown sugar
1 tbspButter

Preheat over to 400°F

Season both side of steak with powdered seasoning

In a heavy bottom skillet or cast iron preferably you can transfer this to the oven

Add butter and sugar until the sugar starts to caramelize

Add you steak a brown on bother side for 2 minutes each then transfer to the over for another 15-20 minutes for well done.. 7 minutes for medium rare

Add to table spoon of water from the pan dripping off the steak with a sprinkle of corn starch to make a gravy
