Jau Dalia veggies khichadi (barley veg pulav)

Barley known as jau/juvar is called king of cereals. It is benefitial for skin, blood pressure, cancer, arthritis & for loose weight. It can be eaten in breakfast /lunch or dinner. Barley pulav is full of nutritions.

Steps

Dry Roast barley in a pressure cooker until golden.

Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Add mustard seeds. Once crackled add onions. Saute it. Once translucent add all vegetables, red chilli powder, turmeric powder & salt. Saute for 1 minute.

Add barley Dalia. Mix well. Saute for 1-2 minutes. Add 3 cup water. (or as per thick Ness)

Cook it until 2-3 whistles on medium flame. Switch off gas. Let it cool.

Open the pressure cooker. Serve hot with curd or tomato sauce.
