Cube bacon

Fry bacon until crispy

Remove bacon from skillet leaving the bacon grease

Add chopped garlic and thin sliced red onions to skillet with bacon grease with course salt and cracked pepper.

Cook and gently toss mixture until onions are soft, add crushed red pepper and smoked paprika then set aside.

In a clean skillet, add olive oil, once hot, cut brussel sprouts in half and place flat side down in skillet. Cook for 2 min then turn each.

Add a 1/4 to 1/2 cup water to skillet and cover. Cook to desired softness.

Toss brussel sprouts in the garlic and onion mixture along with the bacon.

Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top.
