Ingredients

10 - 13 minutes
8 - 10 servings
  1. 3 lbsground turkey
  2. 1/2 cupplain bread crumbs
  3. 1/2 cupyellow onion minced fine
  4. 1/2 teaspoonsalt
  5. 1 teaspoonseasoned salt
  6. 1 teaspoonblack pepper
  7. I teaspoon red pepper flakes
  8. 1 teaspoongarlic powder
  9. 1 teaspoononion powder
  10. 1 teaspoondried thyme
  11. 1 teaspoondried rosemary
  12. 3 tablespoonsWorcestershire sauce
  13. 1large egg, beaten
  14. 2 tablespoonsolive oil

Steps

10 - 13 minutes
  1. 1

    Mix all the ingredients together until thoroughly combined.

  2. 2

    If you have time, chill mixture in the freezer for at least 1 hour. Chilling the mixture will firm it up, increase the flavor and make shaping patties easier. Go to next step.

  3. 3

    Form mixture into patties of desired size. If you keep them fairly thick, they will be moister.

  4. 4

    Pour olive oil into a non stick skillet (I use cast iron)on medium high. Heat oil until very hot but not scorching.

  5. 5

    Place patties in skillet without moving until bottom side is brown and crusted - about 5 minutes.

  6. 6

    Turn patties over, reduce heat to medium and cook 6 to 8 mins longer or until center is no longer pink and juices run clear.

  7. 7

    Serve on hamburger buns with mayo, ketchup, Dijon mustard, cheese, pickles, lettuce and tomato or whatever you like. Yum! Nothing is written in stone. Add or delete spices or different herbs and veggies and MAKE THIS RECIPE YOUR OWN!
