  3. 2 tspcocoa powder
  4. 1 tspbaking soda
  5. 1 tspsalt
  6. 1 1/2 cupsugar
  7. 1 1/2 stickof unsalted butter softened
  8. 2 largeeggs
  9. 1 cupbuttermilk
  10. 2 ozred food coloring
  11. 1 tspdistilled white vinegar
  12. 1 tspvanilla
  13. 8 ozpackage cream cheese,softened
  14. 1 lbbox confectioners sugar
  15. 1 tspvanilla extract

    preheat the oven to 350°f.grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.

    in a medium bowl sift the flour. and cocoa and baking soda,salt together set aside. In a large bowl, cream the sugar with the butter. beat in the eggs one at a time. alternately add the flour mixture with the buttermilk. beat in the food coloring and vinegar, then add the vanilla spread the batter evenly in the pans bake 20to30min or until a wooden toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. cool
