Halfa cauliflower
4big handfuls of fusilli or penne pasta
8 rashersstreaky backn
1garlic clove
3heaped tbsp of creme fraiche
2 handfulsstrong grated cheddar
4 handfulsBreadcrumbs
Swig of Olive oil
Another handful of grated cheddar

Steps

Turn oven on to 190c

Drizzle some oil into a big roasting dish and lay streaky bacon rashers all over pan. Bake for 10 minutes

Boil pasta for 5 minutes then add cauliflower cut into florets plus garlic clove and continue cooking for another 7 minutes.

Drain pasta and cauliflower reserving a mug full of pasta water.

In the pasta saucepan, mix the pasta, cooking water, bacon (snipped up) creme fraiche, garlic, and cheese. Mix as transfer into roasting pan

In another bowl, mix up breadcrumbs, cheese and oil and sprinkle all over the top.

Put in the oven for 8-10 minutes until golden. If it needs more browning put under the grill for a few minutes
