Ingredients

  • 19 inch Pie Crust
  • 3Eggs, beaten
  • 3/4 cupSugar
  • 1/4 tspSalt
  • 1 tbspVanilla Extract
  • 1Egg White
  • 2 1/2 cupScalded Milk
  • 1/4 tspGround Nutmeg
  • 3 dashYellow Food Coloring

Steps

  1. 1

    Preheat oven to 400°F

  2. 2

    Mix eggs, salt, sugar, vanilla

  3. 3

    Blend in scalded milk

  4. 4

    Add food coloring

  5. 5

    Brush inside of pie crust with egg white to prevent soggy crust

  6. 6

    Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a knife inserted comes out clean
