1 1/2 cupYellow Split peas
1 cupGreen Lentils
2 eachCarrots
1 eachOnion
1 cloveGarlic
1 eachBacon Hock
1Pepper
1Salt
1Bay Leaves
1Parsley
10 cupWater

Steps

1

Add peas, lentils, carrots and onion to bottom of slow cooker
2

Add in bacon hock
3

Place in garlic, bay leaves and parsley
4

Cover with water
5

Cook on high for 7 hours, or low for nine hours
6

Take out bacon hock and remove meat, put meat back in to soup
7

Salt and pepper to tast
