Ingredients

  • 6 ozButter
  • 8 ozFlour
  • 1/2 tspSalt
  • 1/2 tspPepper ( optional)
  • 1 tbspMustrad
  • 2Eggs( separated yolks from white
  • 1/4 cupCold water
  • 2 cupGrated cheese

Steps

  1. 1

    Rub the butter into the flour.

  2. 2

    Add the grated cheese, salt, pepper and mustard mix thoroughly

  3. 3

    Add beaten egg yolk and cold water to make a stiff dough.

  4. 4

    Roll out about 1/4 in thick cut inyo strips 2 1/2 in x1/2 and twist like twittlers

  5. 5

    Place the straws on a baking sheet

  6. 6

    Bake at 400 °F for about 15 mins or until golden brown.
