Ingredients

20 mins
10 servings
  1. 2 kglean ground beef
  2. 4 tspsalt
  3. 2 tspground black pepper
  4. 3 tspgarlic powder
  5. 2 tsponion powder
  6. 2 tspItalian seasoning
  7. 4 tsporegano
  8. 1 tspcayenne pepper ( more or less depending on how spicy you want)
  9. 4 tspall purpose flour
  10. 370 ml1 can evaporated milk
  11. 3/4 cupwhite sugar
  12. 2 tspgarlic powder
  13. 4 tspwhite vinegar (might need more depending how thick you want it)

Cooking Instructions

20 mins
  1. 1

    preheat oven to 350°F

  2. 2

mix salt, pepper, garlic & onion powder, oregano, Italian seasoning, cayenne and flour together.

  3. 3

in metal bowl ( very important) add meat and seasoning mix and mix.

  4. 4

very important - to get the texture you need to pick up the meat and slam hard into bowl about 20 times kneading in between

  5. 5

form meat into a loaf on a broiler pan. I make mine about 2 inches thick and square it.

  6. 6

bake for 1hr 15 mins flipping halfway

  7. 7

in bowl mix evaporated milk, garlic powder and sugar. stir gently until sugar dissolves. then add vinegar slowly 1tsp at a time stirring gently until mixture thickens. then refrigerate

  8. 8

once meat is cooked, it can be eaten or wrapped and refrigerated. it will be easier to slice when it is cool

  9. 9

to make donair, thinly slice and heat meat, place on pita bread add diced onion, tomato and lettuce. then add sweet sauce and enjoy
