Ingredients

  • 2 cupAll purpose flour -
  • 100 gmsBoiled peas -
  • 1/2 cupBoiled bathua leaves -
  • 1Finely chopped green chilli -
  • 1 tbspFinely chopped coriander leaves -
  • 1 tspCumin seeds -
  • 1/4 tspRed chilli powder -
  • 1/4 tspGaram masala powder -
  • 1 pinchAsafoetida -
  • 1/4 tspAmchur powder -
  • to tasteSalt -
  • 2 tbspOil -
  • as neededOil - for frying

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat oil in a pan.

    Add asafoetida and cumin seeds to crackle.

    Add boiled bathua leaves and boiled matar and mix well.

    Add red chilli powder,amchur powder,green chilli,garam masala powder,salt and coriander leaves and mix well.

    Saute for 2 to 3 mins in a low flame.

    Take a large bowl combine all purpose flour,salt,oil and bathua and matar mixture and mix well.

    With the help of little water make a dough.

    Keep aside for 15 mins.

  9. 9

    Divide the dough into equal size balls and roll it.

  10. 10

    Heat enough oil in a pan.

  11. 11

    Add the kachori,lower the heat and fry till light brown.

    Drain in paper napkin
