beat butter till creamy

add sugar; beat

mix in peanut butter and egg

mix together dry ingredients in separate bowl

stir dry ingredients into butter mixture

let dough sit in refrigerator for at least 3 hours

preheat oven to 300°F

shape dough into 1 1/4 inch balls, place 3 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet

bake for 15 minutes or until light brown

let cool
