Ingredients

12 servings
  1. 1 1/2 cupflour
  2. 1 1/2 cupSugar
  3. 3 tbspCocoa
  4. 6eggs separated
  5. 3/4 cupOil
  6. 3/4 cupBoiling Water
  7. 1/2 tspSalt
  8. 3 tspBaking Powder
  9. 1 tspVanilla essence
  10. Sauce
  11. 1 1/2 cupSugar
  12. 1 1/2 cupWater
  13. 2 tbspInstant Coffee Powder
  14. 1 tspVanilla essence

Steps

30 mins
  1. 1

    Sift flour, Sugar, Cocoa and Salt together

  2. 2

    mix boiling Water and Oil together

  3. 3

    Separate the eggs, add yolks to the flour mix

  4. 4

    Add vanilla and baking Powder to the mix.

  5. 5

    fold in the stifly beaten egg whites into the mix.

  6. 6

    Bake for 30-40 min @ 180°C

  7. 7

    Boil sauce ingredients together

  8. 8

    Pour slowly over cake and let it cool down

  9. 9

    Decorate with cream, carnation or Chocolate icing
