This is for the #MommaJackiesStromboliShowdown Contest!I made 2 large to serve my family, but servings can be cut in half to make 1 large. This is a delicious cross between a sausage/pepper and a tasty stromboli all wrapped into one. And, to make it easy on yourself; you can use store bought or dough bought from a local pizzaria!Restless1nj

20-Minute Calzone 20-Minute Calzone
When I started preparing breakfast one day, I realized all the sudden that we didn't have any cooked rice nor bread. I was wondering if I should just start cooking rice in a hurry, when I decided to make something with flour. But I didn't have any cake flour either, so I somehow started making a pizza-like dough. I kneaded some bread flour, but didn't let the dough proof, spread tomato ketchup on, put the filling in, and baked in a frying pan.The amounts of ingredients in this recipe are estimates, but it'll work out okay. Just add enough hot water to bring the dough together. For the filling, if you use any ingredients that take time to cook, parboil or heat through beforehand. It is recommended to use plenty of cheese. Be careful not to burn yourself when you eat, since the filling is very hot when calzone is just done! Recipe by *mocomoco* cookpad.japan
