Ingredients

6 servings
  1. 1 can16 oz. can dark sweet cherries pitted
  2. 1/2 cupcurrant jelly
  3. 3/4 cupsherry
  4. 3 ozcherry gelatin
  5. 1/4 cuplemon juice
  6. 1/4 cuppecans choppef

Steps

  1. 1

    drain cherries, reserving three fourths cup cherry syrup.

  2. 2

    combine syrup, jelly and sherry

  3. 3

    bring just to boil

  4. 4

    remove from heat. add gelatin

  5. 5

    dissolve completely

  6. 6

    add cherries and lemon juice

  7. 7

    chill until partially set. add nuts

  8. 8

    chill in 3 cup ring mold overnight
