Steps
- 1
Combine all the seasonings in a small bowl and rub evenly over the roast.
- 2
Place the meat into a 6-quart slow cooker.
- 3
Add water.
- 4
Cover and cook on low for about 6 to 8 hours or on high for about 4-5 hours or until the pork is nice and tender.
- 5
Once the pork is all done pull from the slow cooker, place on a large cutting board or a large platter and let it cool for 15 minutes.
- 6
Once cooled pull, slice or chop the pork.
- 7
Put all the meat in a large bowl and toss with your favorite barbecue sauce, then place on a bun and enjoy. Or you could just leave the pork plain and also put it onto the bun and just top it with the barbecue sauce.
