  • 2 tbspvegetable oil
  • 1 lbground beef
  • 1 cuponion, chopped
  • 2 clovegarlic, chopped
  • 30 ozkidney beans
  • 28 ozcrushed tomatoes
  • 2 tbspchili powder
  • 1 tbspwhite vinegar
  • 1salt
  • 1peper

  1. 1

    In a 2 quart saucepan, brown hamburger in vegetable oil. Add onion and garlic, cook until onion is soft. Pour off any excess fat.

  2. 2

    Stir in beans, crushed tomatoes, chili powder and vinegar. Salt and pepper to taste. Heat to boiling and reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes
