Ingredients

1 serving
  1. 1Non stick cooking spray
  2. 1 tbspall-natural almond butter
  3. 2 tsprice vinegar, divided use
  4. 1 1/2 tspreduced-sodium tamari soy sauce, divided use
  5. 6 oztempeh, cut into thin strips
  6. 1 cupsteamed broccoli florets

Steps

  1. 1

    Preheat oven or toaster oven to 350°F. Cover baking pan with aluminum foil and lightly coat with spray. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Combine almond butter, 1 1/2 tsp. vinegar, and 1 tsp. soy sauce in a small bowl. Set aside.

  3. 3

    Combine tempeh strips, remaining 1/2 tsp. vinegar, and remaining 1/2 tsp. soy sauce in a medium bowl.

  4. 4

    Place tempeh on prepared baking pan. Bake for 8 minutes; turn and bake for 5 more minutes, or until golden.

  5. 5

    Serve with almond sauce and broccoli.
