Ingredients

2 servings
  • 2 headsmall broccoli
  • 2medium ny or flank steak
  • 1/2 cuphazelnuts
  • 4garlic cloves
  • 1/3 cupavocado oil (3-4 tbsp for cooking, rest for sauce
  • 1/2 tspchili flakes (optional but recommended!)
  • 1 tspsalt
  • 1 tspground black pepper
  • 1 tbspminced ginger (optional)

Steps

    Heat your pan on low with the separate oil kept for cooking (really just personal preference here)

  2. 2

    Slice steak into thin strips

  3. 3

    Add steak, up temperature to medium and sautee for about 3 mins and then add your hazelnuts. Cook for 2 mins.

  4. 4

    Add garlic and ginger (if using) and continue to stir often.

  5. 5

    Now throw in the chopped broccoli, sautee till it reaches your preferred consistency (I like crisp veggies, about 5 -6 mins)

  6. 6

    When you are close to your end result, add the remaining oil, chili flakes, salt and pepper

  7. 7

    Serve hot with or without rice!
