  • 3 eachTomatoes, diced & crushed
  • 1 canTomato paste
  • 1/2 eachOnion, diced
  • 1/2 eachGreen pepper, diced
  • 3 cloveGarlic
  • 2 tbspParsley
  • 1 tspOregano
  • 1 tspBasil
  • 2 tbspSugar
  • 1 tspSalt
  • 1/2 tspBlack pepper
  • 1 eachBay leaf
  • Meat sauce
  • 8 ozGround beef
  • 8 ozGround Italian sausage

Steps

  1. 1

    Add all ingredients to saucepan and simmer for 3-4 hours on medium-low heat.

  2. 2

    If making it with meat- sauté meat with the onions and green pepper 1st. Then add to pot with remaining ingredients. Let simmer 3-4 hours on low heat.
