Ingredients

5 mins
1 serving
  1. 1Egg (beaten)
  2. 1 sliceBread
  3. 1Salt
  4. 1Pepper
  5. dashCayenne Chilli Pepper
  6. dashBaking soda
  7. Honey
  8. Olive oil
  9. 1Blueberry Jam

Cooking Instructions

5 mins
  1. 1

Add a dash of Cayenne and Baking Soda to the beaten Egg. Mix. If it's a bit thick, add a drop of milk or water.

  2. 2

Heat oil in frying pan. In a bowl, let Bread soak in the mixture until fully absorbed, pressing lightly if needed.

  3. 3

Oil should be hot now. Carefully transfer & fry Bread on medium-high heat. 5-10 minutes (turning).

  4. 4

Serve with bacon, or jam. Spread or drizzle honey. Dust icing sugar if you have. I ate mine off the plate in about 60 seconds flat. It didn't even make it out the kitchen.

I keep it simple. There's no need to use 100 ingredients, so my own recipes reflect that. I like slow cooking(or cookers) and ethnic foods. Vegetarianism is the path i'm walking down right now. I'm also working on a healthier lifestyle in general, so any help is appreciated.
