Ingredients

  • Egg Rolls Filling
  • 4 cupraw shredded cabbage
  • 1/2 cupfineley chopped onion
  • 1/2 cupchopped celery
  • 2 tspsalt
  • 1 cupdiced cooked chicken
  • 1 tbspsoya sauce
  • 1 tbsppeanut oil
  • 1/2 tsppepper
  • 1/2 tspSchwartz M.S.G
  • Egg Rolls Dough preparation
  • 2 cupAll Purpose Flour
  • 1large well-beaten Egg
  • 1 tspsalt
  • 1/2 cupcold water
  • 1 tbspcold water

Steps

  1. 1

    Dough Preperation:

    In a bowl, mix flour, beaten egg and salt

  2. 2

    Knead a few minutes to obtain a fine dough, wrap in aluminium foil and refrigerate 2 hours

  3. 3

    Roll out as thin as possible, about
    1/16", cut into 4 inch squares.

  4. 4

    Yields about 20 pieces

  5. 5

    Egg Rolls Filling:

    Combine vegetables in a deep bowl with salt and let stand 15 minutes.

    Drain

  7. 7

    Add other ingredients. Mix well

  8. 8

    Note: You can add any meat, shrimp, lobster or leftovers to replace chicken. I have done half chicken and half left over turkey. I have also added shrimp or lobster to it which makes it very delicious!!
