Ingredients

1 stickbutter
1 largeegg
1 cupmilk
1 cupflour
1 cupsugar
2 tspbaking powder
1/2 tspsalt
4 ozcream cheese
2 quartstrawberries, capped and halved

Preheat oven 350°.

Melt butter and pour in 9 x 13 glass dish.

In bowl mix egg, milk, flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.

Pour into dish on top of butter. Do not stir.

Add strawberries in single layer. Drop chunks of cream cheese over top.

Bake 45 minutes until golden brown.
