Ingredients

2 persons
  • 1 cupWheat flour -
  • 1/2 cupBesan -
  • 1/4 cupBajra aata -
  • 1/4 cupJowar aata -
  • 1/4 cupMakai aata -
  • 2 cupsLauki / bottlegourd- grated and squeezed
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1 tbspGarlic & chilli paste -
  • 1 tspSesame/till -
  • 1 tspAjwain -
  • 1/2 tspSaunf powder -
  • 1/2 tspHaldi -
  • 1/4 tspBaking soda -
  • 1 tspSugar -
  • Coriander leaves - 1/2 cup
  • 1 tbspOil -

Steps

  1. 1

    Grate lauki in a bowl and add little salt and keep aside for 5-10 mins.

  2. 2

    Then squeeze lauki properly and keep it's water for later use.

  3. 3

    In a large bowl mix all ingredients.

    Mix grated lauki also. Knead well.

    If water required use left over lauki water. Knead tight dough.

    Now in a steamer put water and bring to a boil.

  7. 7

    Grease thaali (perforated /hole)

  8. 8

    Spread one portion of dough and flatten it little. 1inch

    Spinkle some more sesame over it.

  10. 10

    Steam it for 10-15 mins.

  11. 11

    When cool cut pieces into square shape.

    Deep fry till crispy and golden brown.

    Garnish with coriander and fried green chilli Serve hot.

    Enjoy with ur partner / friend at tea/coffee time.
