Ingredients

  1. 2 mediumshallots, coarsely chopped
  2. 1/4 lbfresh asparagus spears, coarsely chopped
  3. 2 tbspfresh Italian parsley, coarsely chpped
  4. 1 tspfresh thyme
  5. 1 tbspolive oil
  6. 1 cupgrape tomatoes
  7. 15 1/2 ozcan of cannellini beans, rinsed and drained
  8. 2 tbspherb garlic butter
  9. 2 tbspcapers
  10. 1/2 tspsalt
  11. 1/4 tsppepper
  12. 4 ozditalini pasta (1 cup)

Steps

  1. 1

    Bring water to boil for pasta.

  2. 2

    Chop shallot, asparagus, parsley, and thyme.

  3. 3

    Cook pasta following package directions; reserve 1/4 cup pasta water for later use.

  4. 4

    Preheat large saute pan on medium-high for 2-3 minutes.

  5. 5

    Place oil in pan, then shallots, asparagus, pasta, tomatoes, and beans.

  6. 6

    Cook and stir 3-4 minutes.

  7. 7

    Stir in herbs, butter, capers, salt, pepper, and reserved pasta water.

  8. 8

    Cook and stir for 2-3 more minutes or until hot.
