Ingredients

30 mins
  • 2 tbspButter
  • 1/2 mediumSpanish onion
  • 1 cloveGarlic
  • 1 cupRice
  • 1 tbspTurmeric
  • 1 1/2 cupChicken broth
  • 1Bay leaf
  • 1 dashThyme
  • 1Salt & pepper

Steps

30 mins
  1. 1

    Finely dice onions

  2. 2

    Finely dice garlic

  3. 3

    Melt 1 tbsp of butter in sauce pan

  4. 4

    Cook onion and garlic until soft

  5. 5

    Add rice and turmeric, stir until coated

  6. 6

    Add remaining ingredients,bring to boil, cover and simmer 17 minutes

  7. 7

    Stir in remaining butter, remove bay leaf, serve
