Slow cooker chickpea and lentils

Cheap and easy to prepare. Serve with rice, bread or other grain/carb of your choice. If you can't find chole masala add an extra tsp of ground coriander, 2 tsp ground cumin, and 1 tsp mustard powder. Slow cooker requires saute function for best results.

Saute vegetables in slow cooker with lid on for first 5min. Take lid off and stop when cabbage has wilted down.

Add proteins, spices and sauce ingredients to slow cooker. Cook hi for 4 hrs.

In a small pan heat ghee on medium high heat. Add remaining tempering ingredients and heat with stirring for about 2 min/until very fragrant. Add to slow cooker.
